The Private Equity Institute uses professionals from different private equity firms to teach its courses. The private equity firms donate their professionals time on the weekends in exchange for preferred recruiting access to students who take the courses. It is difficult for us to tell students in advance who will be teaching a course because demand for students varies at the firms we use based upon their personnel needs. However, we can say that five firms contributed the majority of the professionals in 2007.
